The Truman boy’s swim team narrowly missed a second place finish Wednesday night, slipping behind St. Pius by 3 points in the final event. The relay team of Shuri Holland, Tyler Jeffries, Carson Moon and Aiden Shearer started the meet off with a solid win in the 200 medley relay. Tyler Jeffries turned right around to place 1st in the next event, the 200 freestyle. Shuri Holland then swam to a second place finish in the 50 freestyle, with Carson Moon finishing 5th, Dayne Rowlette finishing 7th and Aiden Shearer finishing 8th. Exchange student Thanapat Chunaka swam to an 11th place finish in the 50 while Nathanael Novas took 14th. Divers Carson Moon and Dayne Rowlette finished 3rd and 4th respectively in the diving competition. Shuri Holland started off the second half of the meet with a second place finish in the 100 butterfly. Thanapat Chunaka swam to an 8th place finish in the 100 free. The relay team of Holland, Jeffries, Moon and Shearer took 2nd in the 200 free relay and Tyler Jeffries ended the meet for Truman with a second place finish in the 100 breaststroke.
