Truman Activities and Athletics Excel in the Classroom

The Truman High School Activities and Athletic teams combined for a 3.25 average GPA for the 2019-20 School Year.  Overall GPA’s have been tracked for the past 12 years.  Truman teams have been over a 3.0 GPA for all 12 years but the 3.25 in 2019-20 is the highest mark during that time.  In 2019-20

Girls Varsity Basketball Tournament to be named in honor of Pete Hile

The Truman Girls Varsity Basketball Tournament has been named in honor of Pete Hile.  Coach Hile is a member of the MO-Kan Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame.  His 1981 team won the State Championship and his teams went to the final four three other times, finishing 2nd in 1982 and 3rd in 1980 and 1998

Truman Girls Basketball Camp Resumes

The Truman girls 3rd-8th basketball camp postponed on Monday and Tuesday due to construction issues resumes tonight, Wednesday June 5th at 5 pm at Truman High School in the small gym (enter on East Side).  The camp will run Wednesday thru Friday.

MSHSAA approves 2 year physicals

By vote of the MSHSAA membership, sport physicals are now good for two years.  This goes into effect immediately and is retroactive for physicals already on file.  (i.e. a physical on file August 1, 2018 is good until July 31, 2020)  We are working on a plan to determine how and when to send out

Summer Sports Workouts and Camps in Full Swing!
