Truman Patriots

Chloe Armstrong, Senior Catcher and 3rd Baseman has been selected to play in the MO-Kan Softball All Star Game.  The game will be played at the Shawnee Mission District Softball Complex at 5 pm on Monday, June 3rd.  Chloe will be competing at Mo Western University in the Fall.

Truman High School Seniors, Adelaide Simpson, Girls Soccer and Jesus Carbajal, Football, Wrestling and Track were   recognized with the MSHSAA Sportsmanship Award.  The award recognizes “Exemplary Display of Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity”.

District Schedule of Events (1)  Attached is updated and final schedule for the District Track Meet at Chrisman, Saturday, May 11th.   Field Events begin at 8:30 am.  Running Events at 10:30 am.  Good luck to all Truman participants!

We would like to thank the 8th grade parents and students who came to the athletics informational meeting on Tuesday, May 7.  There was a great turnout.  The Truman High School coaches are thankful that so many students and their parents came to hear information about summer activities for athletics and plans for next season. 

The Truman Boys Tennis team defeated Chrisman 5-3 at Santa Fe Park on Monday in the first round of District Team Tennis.  Truman advances to the semifinal today, 5/7 at Blue Springs South at 4 pm.

Truman High School is hosting an information night for current 8th grade athletes and their parents who want to participate in athletics at Truman in the 9th grade.  The meeting is at 7 pm on Tuesday night, May 7th at 7pm in the Truman High School Auditorium.  Coaches from all sports along with Eric Holm,
